Peace Mediator & Conflict Manager (Online Studies)


The World Mediation Organization offers a newly developed online course on the interdisciplinary topic of Mediation & Conflict Management in English and Spanish language. Our online training provides the flexibility and accessibility for students to study at their own pace. 
It considers the guidelines of the German Mediation Act, the European Code of Conduct for Mediators, the UN Guidance for Effective Mediation, as well as international research results regarding the sustainable benefits of teaching Comprehensive Mediation. Our training program places the focus on understanding conflicts, the various dispute resolution options and the attitude of the human individual. Enrolment, right here.

1. Application

Enrolment can be realized anywhere in the world by the following steps:

1. Register and pay online, right here  If you pay by Western Union, send us the Application and Transaction Code.

2. Receive access to the course syllabus and content, study at home, and exchange with your personal tutor.

3. Submit the written assignment of each chapter, and prepare your end-of-course thesis step by step. 

4. Receive your WMO certificate, and order the Euclid Post-Graduate Certificate on demand.

2. Evaluation

The World Mediation Organization opens doors the several opportunities of further education. WMO Graduates (Distance Program & External Certification Process) who wish to realize their Master‘s and / or Doctorate's Degree at EUCLID (Pôle Universitaire Euclide) get this program evaluated and validated with an equivalency of 20 ECTS for a Master’s or a PhD Program. WMO Graduates further may receive a WMO / EUCLID Post Graduate Certificate in Mediation on demand. 

3. Course Syllabus

The curriculum (ask for password)combines innovative perspectives on the acquisition and the application of knowledge. The innovative online format prepares candidates for the national and international job market. Candidates will be invited to participate in our growing network of students, alumni, and experts to exchange opinions and information on global issues beyond the scope of the one-year study program. The outstanding benefit of our programme is the fact that our students do not only study the basics, but also get a deep knowledge on alternative dispute resolution in general. Hereby we enable our students to act as successful future professionals. Due to the preamble on Peace Education, our students become conflict consultants and trainers for conflict resolution at the same time.

4. Learning Procedure

The program has been designed to provide theoretical and practical information at the same level.

1) The course curriculum (ask for password) that contains six chapters + four electives. 

2) Upon your enrolment, your personal tutor will get in touch with you and guide you through the program. He/she will also review your essays, suggest corrections or changes, and answer your questions. 

3) By finishing a chapter, the student is asked to create a written essay of 2 pages that contains a summary, personal reflections on the context, and the implementation of the context to his / her current or future work.

4) Every student is asked to write an end-of-course thesis of at least 15 pages. The individual topic of the thesis should be discussed with the personal tutor. The thesis should reflect the obtained knowledge in Mediation and Conflict Management and serve as confirmation of obtained academic excellence.

5. Price Structure / Tuition Fees

In order to enable as many students as possible to subscribe and to get out the benefits of our training, the tuition fee varies depending on the area were the individual student lives. 6. Financial Aid / Scholarship

a) Who may benefit: The World Mediation Organization is able to offer scholarships to students. The financial aid program is committed to providing qualified students with a chance to achieve a top-rate education. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to consider the program regardless of their financial means. Applicants can be confident that the utmost will be done in order to meet their financial requirements.

b) How much support will be granted: The World Mediation Organization will provide scholarships for students based on educational excellence and financial need. Generally, the WMO provides scholarships of an amount up to a 30 % price reduction on the course costs depending on the citizenship of the student. 

c) Application procedure: The student is asked to submit a written application outlining the individual educational and professional background, as well as the financial situation. , the application will be evaluated and on granting the reduction, the student is asked to pay the corresponding course fee.
