In January 2012, the World Mediation Organization (WMO) - formerly known as World-Mediation-Centre - entered an educational partnership with the Peace Action Training and Research Institute of Romania. From this moment on, both organizations recognized and evaluated mutual trainings and certifications, and an important sustainable landmark regarding a network of international peace supporting education was created. Due to the professional excellence of PATRIR, the WMO offered a further level of collaboration, namely the appointment of a District Manager - Cluj-Napoca. Today, PATRIR is one of the leading European educational institutions in the field of conflict research and peace support.
In January 2013, the WMO found a further potential cooperation partner in Romania: MISIT. This association concentrates on realizing consultancies in the field of Mediation and Crisis Resolution. Hereby, MISIT offers a much wider catalogue of services as it might be expected on the first sight. Clients may benefit from psychological support as well as legal advice. In order to serve as much persons as possible, MISIT offers free of charge consultancies for persons with a difficult financial background.
The WMO is glad to cooperate with such a strong team of institutes and to create future strategies for even more social benefits. Pro Salute Omnium.
