From February 2013 on, the World Mediation Organization (WMO) - formerly known as World-Mediation-Centre -  is represented by Mr. Ali Qtaishat, Ph.D. being the District Manager - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Qtaishat holds the special permission to act as representatve in further countries of the Middle-East in order to create a sensibility for the benefits of ADR - Alternative Dispute Resolutions. Right after his appointment, he communicated his visionary thoughts:

“It is my pleasure to work with the WMO while many persons of international importance find it to be one of the most respectable organizations that deal with Mediation and Conflict Resolution worldwide.

Being the District Manger – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I would like to introduce the World Mediation Organization as an Independent International Non-Governmental Network for Mediation and Conflict Resolution in the Arab Gulf area and to point out its importance as provider of social sustainable education.

Being an academic person, I will start connecting with local universities in order to introduce a corresponding Degree Program, which would be the first on Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Middle-East.  The academic  and  non-academic courses are highly useful for private life as well as for professional use, such as in politics, social, legal and commercial  areas. The certificate courses will be offered in Arabic and English language and will start as face-to-face tranings soon.

It is my personal wish to promote the peace supporting culture of Mediation. Corresponding target groups will be the society in general, universities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Further information will be spread in TV, Radio, and Newspapers.”
